BASEMENTS

BASEMENTS

Where do you want only peace
The wind brings the vast folly
And when you believe yet another charm
The world draws more scathing.
Just what can and already does
I surf looking for the wisdom
And life changes face and complexion
And I know that I will be finally able.
Basements, where I hide my longings,
Hatch in torture and fears
And time is flowing down the drain.
Looking back I see traces,
The boats adrift lose weights
And seeing the debacle, speak nothing.
